SYNOPSIS

zap [ horizontal_displacement ]

DESCRIPTION

The image is zapped -- a little like the effect of pressing the "Degauss" button on a CRT computer monitor.

The option is as follows:

horizontal_displacement

valid values are in the range 1-255.

EXAMPLES

zap  16

zap

The first example will displace lines 16 pixels to the left and right. When no argument is given, a small (<10) random displacement is chosen.
